Telegraph UK reports the world's most expensive shoes which are the brainchild of British jewellery designer Christopher Michael Shellis: They're solid gold, encrusted with diamonds, and will set you back £140,000 ($229,000). The shoes have not had any takers since going on sale five months ago, "Each pair is made from solid gold and over 2,200 diamonds, totalling 30 carats."
